Requests players claim and exit while stays solo. Host declares his intention of aborting (or allowing the defense target to die) If they Claimed and exited and the rest of the people continued, that is fine since a Key was consumed, if however they Aborted and the rest of the squad could keep playing then that is probably a bug. Your last comment about Endless Defense continuing after the Key user leaves might be a bug.
Everyone would be happy and satisified, instead everyone is unhappy because they all wasted 40 minutes for nothing. The key supplier would be 8 tokens closer to buying his Rhino Prime Chassis, you would have your Fusion Cores and experience. For example if you got 1 token for every five minutes in Survival and went 40 minutes then all players would get 8 tokens. This is why DE needs to go to a token system where everyone gets something they can use. The only place this doesn't matter is void endless defense as the system seems to allow the rest of the group to continue playing properly after the host abandons ship.Īgreed, the current state of drops makes it so not using the key when you do not get what you want is better. The only place this doesn't matter is void endless defense as the system seems to allow the rest of the group to continue playing properly after the host abandons ship. but personally i wanted the 30+ fusion cores and bonus xp that goes along with completing the mission. now i understand exactly why he's doing that. In the last few weeks in have been involved in least 4 instances where the host has "aborted" after the 40 minute mark because he didn't get the rhino chassis. T3 survival this is becoming very common. I don't really care what i get in the end in the larger scheme.īut i very much DO care when the host has the capability of aborting and screwing over every other player. This "abort and requeue" upsurge is disturbing. Numerous posts recently of players farming 5 hours and getting nothing but credit caches and garbage at 20 minute mark just to Abort and requeue. Credits, resources and keys used and nothing to show for your time. The fact that a player can sit down and play for hours and actually be in a worse position econmically is most definitely a slap in the face.
Edited Maby MetsudoĪgreed, there are a number of issues with the current loot system. I personally prefer this idea as it gives the player better control of the keys they have and need (I have hundreds of tier 1 of various types that I can't really see myself using). You could add rare material drops to the table at these times to dilute them a bit (neurodes/cells).ī) keep it as it is and give players the ability to use lower tier keys to craft higher tier ones (perhaps at a ratio of 3-1). You don't want the 20 minute rewards to be a key here, as you're going here to farm prime parts/forma, but I still feel that the keys obtainable from here should be of a higher tier.Ī) reduce the key drop rate at the 5, 10, 15 minute intervals and replace them with tier 2/3 keys. Also you have to factor in the fact that you need to use both credits and materials to even enter this survival. Now I think that if you were to get a tier 3 key every 5 minutes then that would be a bit much, but let's face it, a tier 1 key for a reward at a highest difficulty level survival is a slap in the face.
In derelict survival (which is at the maximum difficulty level of 5) however the enemies start at level 25. To better explain this, the normal tier 3 survival enemy level window starts at 15 (Sedna-Yemaja) and if you are going to farm tier 3 void keys from survival this is typically the level you can expect to start from. Now to be honest, the fact that keys are being given for these rewards isn't in my opinion that bad a thing, as farming keys can be a royal pain, but the fact that they are all tier 1 I think is a bit insulting. I haven't run these for a while to be honest, but I couldn't help but notice that virtually all the non 20* minute rewards are tier 1 void keys. Okay I have been trying to get the last part of the Burston prime set I need (blueprint) so I've been running derelict survival to that end.
